I bought this recently at a yard sale and the gal said her dad collected "things." That is all I know about it, other than her saying it was old. It is a heavy piece of wood that is about 3in tall. Looks like an old style german folt art piece to me, but who knows?

This wood sculpture was probably produced by the ANRI workshop located in Northern Italy. If you decide ask for more information , you should include a photo of the base, both from side and bottom. Also, in your photo it is tough to tell if the piece is painted, might be better to photograph outdoors.
Good luck.
Thanks too much stuff. =)
