This is one of two Day and Date clocks that Harry Warren produced, the Instructor (the other day date clock is the Registrar, Model number 8h17, 1941-42). An automatic calenday clock in a brown wood case with contrasting wood inlays and brass feet.
Like the GE Alamanc you have to cycle through the hours to change the day, but the date is easy.
The light cream dial features black numerals, the day and date are in red letters and numbers.
The clock runs smoothly and the day and date change at midnight, slowly, but they do change.
The case is a little worse for ware, the inlays that formed the corners of the clock are missing.
