Most people, when they think of Czech vanity sets and perfume bottles, immediately envision elaborate cut, engraved and pressed contraptions with really over the top stoppers. And I mean, more is better.
However, the Tango era created a different aesthetic, faithful to the contrast between a solid opal color and a black stopper. I have been lucky to find complete or almost complete sets, including the rarest piece, a tray.
I have bought whatever I could find, mostly from European dealers, because they are really scarce in this country. At times I'll find a little rinse tumbler and I will add it. I do not keep atomizers, though. There is no way to make them work. I think they may be Kralik or Ruckl.
And by the way: I keep fragrances inside them!

Alfredo, do these have markings? What is a good way to tell that they are the genuine article?
I am quite puzzled by your assuming that "the genuine article" can being identified by a marking since the current market is full of "genuinely" fake Tiffany', Steuben, Loetz, Galle, Lalique et al. The Czechs DID NOT MARK THEIR GLASS unless it was exported, and then, in order to show provenance, in accordance to USA trade laws. There are also catalogs from the period. We have found no evidence that they are currently in production. Dealers will ordinarily call any kind of Tango "Loetz Powolny" just to make it salable.
