This is a large souvenir silk scarf of the 101st Division c. 1950.
At the end of WW2 the Division was deactivated and then in 1948 reactivated as a Training Division at Camp Breckinridge, KY. During that time the "Airborne" tab was dropped from the Division patch as the Division was no longer on Airborne or jump status.
101st items from this time period do not have the mystique of WW2 or VN era items. Consequently, they are not as eagerly collected and can be had for very reasonable prices.
I avidly collect 101st items (all eras) and have my own connection to the Division. I served in the 101st three different times during my military career.

Thanks Pop and official. I have a couple of modern 101st patches newly posted-- one theater made, the other a rush made error.
