The two CMV 3 microphones ser no's 242 and 265 were manufactured by Georg Neumann -Berlin SO16. From the information got from Germany they were manufactured in 1928 or 1929.
They are in original condition and in what looks like there own boxes. One has a damaged microphone screen but no other physical damage.
I obtained them from a local recording studio which closed down in the 60's and had been in business for many years, I think they started in the early 30's

The approx. year of manufacture was advised by Neumann and a further German source, I cannot be certain of the dates but from the serial numbers I would suggest that the date of 1939 would mean only 241 were made in an eleven year period
