This was my mom's high chair (she was born in Iowa in the early 3os). I would like to know more about this. I am trying to find a tray (either new or reproduction) to complete this. I tried to refinish it when my son was born (15 years ago), but the wood was not of high quality (maple?) orthe original paint made it Very rough to remove, and I finally gave up and painted it again. It was originally a kelly (?) green. I still have the removable metal tray insert.
