This Item is Hand made, silver very unique, the padding is made out velvet materiel, under the velvet it has news papers dated 1800+ no clear, it is not stamped any place by who it was made. i don't even know what is the value on this purse

I have a purse just like this but mine is copper. It kind of looks like yours may be copper underneath and at some point got a coat of silver. They are from the early 1900's and sell for about $50 at most. I thought they were really rare when I got mine but since have found several more and also have another one that is round shaped. All are from the same period and have about the same value. Now, if yours happens to be silver plated or even solid silver, then of course, it is worth much more.
