I believe my mother received this watch for her eighteenth birthday, which would make it early 1950s but I am really not sure. It is a Baume et Mercier and the material is gold. On the back of the case the number is 27833 36572. That's pretty much all I know at the moment about it. I would appreciate any information...

Actually, since it has that phi symbol above the Baume & Mercier, it is no older than 1964 when they started using that symbol on all of their watches. Probably is early 60s however....pretty! Good luck! BaumeNut
