I recently inherited a large collection of pottery, glass, jewellery and much more from a friend. These clip on earrings were amongst the collection and wondered if anyone can tell me anything about them. They are in a Vendome box and on a Vendome card but I can't find any markings on the actual earrings. The card is also marked 22 carat gold plated. They are very beautiful and well made and could easily be mistaken for fine jewellery rather than costume. If my ears weren't pierced, they would definitely be adorning them frequently!

Vendome is Coro's high end jewelry line. The high end line was known as Coro Craft and then Vendome replaced that name. The Vendome name was used from 1944-1970 and the chief designer was Helen Marion. A very collectible piece congrats on being the new caretaker of such treasures. We would love to see more of your pieces.
I love these. If I owned them, I would change the clip to a post and wear them. Like you, I've just inherited a lot of vintage jewelry and have run across a couple very old pieces I'm not familiar with, also.
