    I was givin this vase from a friend of mine, it's very heavy and is shaped like a flower. There is a mark on the right bottom trim but I can't make it out.

      The patina is meant to resemble that of higher end antique/ vintage bronze vases such as those made by Carl Sorensen.

      The coloration on yours appears to be painted.

      No.

      The coloration is similar to bronze patina from Carl Sorensen.

      The connection with a nut to hold it together and the painted decoration identifies your piece as modern.
