Well, what you see here is a Andorran passport issued in 1942. Andorra, as you might know is a tiny country in Europe between the border of France and Spain. The official name is Principality of Andorra. The estimated population today is 84.000 BUT there are ONLY around 30.000 Andorran nationals. In 1900 the population was just 5.000. So you can imagine that this passport is surely a quite rare one and I am lucky to have this one in my collection. But there is even more to say on this document as it has already a color passport picture (probably colorized) of a 30 years young lady. Remember this passport is from 1942 when color pictures were not common at all. I hope you enjoy the brief report and pictures...
