    CAD1949
    (700 items)

PICKED THIS UP AT THE DAV STORE. THE GLASS IS HEAVILY EMBOSSED WITH MAX AND MINIMUM AMOUNTS. ALSO SAYS LOCKHEED, NIVOCLAIR, MARQUE, DEPOSEE BREVETE,S.G.O.G., MADE IN FRANCE. LOOKS TO BE A FEEDER OR WATERING BOTTLE OF SOME TYPE. ANY IDEAS? I CAN'T MAKE OUT THE LETTERING ON THE LID BUT IT APPEARS TO BE IN FRENCH.

All it basically says is that it is a NIVOCLAIR brand and that it is Patented.

After another look it might just be a Master Cylinder Reservoir for a french car.....the bracket looks like it would bolt to the Firewall (Rear of the Engine Bay) and the tube at the bottom would connect to the Master Cylinder... Now, which car ????

The more I study the bottle and with the input from Pop and AR8Jason I am satisfied it is a master cylinder but for what is the question. All input is appreciated and I will continue to look.

We found one like it in the rotted remains of a Renault. Year and model undeciferable, probably late fifties or early sixtys.
