Peters and Reed is another favourite art pottery producer. Here are two piece that I have in my collection:
1) Peters and Reed shape #172, 8” high, Leaves and Berries from the Moss Aztec line made designed by Frank Ferrell. Produced in the 1920’s
2) Peters and Reed vase from the Moss Aztec line, 7.5” high, produced 1912-1918. This one was also designed and signed by Frank Ferrell. From what I understand the signatures were removed from the mould as they were remade from the master which means about 10% of the line would have a signature. My notes also say that Ferrell worked for P&R from 1912-1918. He went onto work for Weller and Roseville to design Pinecone for Roseville.
