i received this watch from my mother who received it from my grandfather. it is a wittnauer three diamond mans watch. it doesnt work and i was wondering if it would have any antique value to fix. it states it is 14 ct gold filled and everything seems to be original is there anybody out there that may have any comments

gold filled means that a base metal is fused with a sheet of real gold by means of heat and pressure,wittenauer is a good make,i think it's german,i stand to be corrected,but depends on the reason to have it repaired,for a sentimental value,i would agree,otherwise no., but that is my opinion.
