I think this is gold.... what is it??

I really don't know what this is. It appears to be a rose gold bar and loop holding a possibly brass charm of some description. The face of the charm is smooth so there is no indication of what it is. The ribbon is black and the box is original although not named or marked in anyway.

Please help if you know what it is!
