This clock was supposedly inspired by the Burlington Pioneer Zephyr train which sped between Chicago and Denver (once clocked in a test run at 104 M.P.H.).
Designed by Paul Feher. Surprisingly to us today, when this clock debuted it was considered to Art Deco for the tastes of it's time and was outsolded by another Weber attribution the "New Yorker". There were two models of this clock released the one pictured and the more common chrome model.
According to the Lawson logo on this clock it was patented in 1935 which marked the first appearance of it's patent #1,990,645. Everything on the clock is original and is in pristine condition, sans cord (which will be replaced). It runs quietly and keeps correct time.
