Can you tell what the red/white and the dark blue marbles are made of? I'm wondering if they might be clay, pottery, etc. If so, they are probably older than if they are glass. Clay and stoneware marbles were still being made as toys in the US in the late 1880's. Glass marble manufacturing machines were developed 1890-1900. By the 1920's, children were commonly playing with glass marbles.
