This is an old coca cola ice chest that my wife found the other day. I saw another one similar to it on your site and was jsut wondering if anyone new if it was worth anything. It appears to be from Mexico as the MR after the logo is spanish for registered trademark. I am going to try to restore the top as it had some water damage.

I also own one of these. mine is in a little better shape than this one. i have been wondering about the age, i have seen brand new ones but none as old as mine. i wonder how toy can tell how old they are and how much they might be worth
I think this one is from Mexico as it has MR after the logo which is spanish equivalent of registered trademark. As far as I have been able to find out, it is circa 1940-1950. I paid 150 dollars for it but it was in worse shape and I restored it mostly on the inside. I didn't want to change the way the outside looked. Good luck researching it. Let me know if you find out anything.
I have a cooler just like the one shown. It seems to be in a little better shape, with a bottle opener.
They still make and sell them in Mexico. I just bought one ($50), they also have beer logos and bigger ones. I live near border and go all the time.
