I owe the materials for this post to Kai Hasselbach, a German collector and member of the Glasshounds, my glass study group.
I have become obsessed with pieces with the particular combination of orange/red, yellow, and cobalt. This color combo was so popular that companies in different countries used it. Because of that, it is quite difficult to assign provenance to individual pieces. When Kai forwarded his photos (the first 2) I knew I had something. Photo 1 shows an "Iris label". The second shows the actual vase pictured in the label! Please notice that in none of these pieces is the bottom color pulled into stripes towards the neck of the piece. Both of the vases in photos 3 and 4 are from my collection, and carry the Kralik semicircular mark. Both Ruckl and Welz are known to have produced similarly colored vases, but the techniques are different.
