Jugendstil candlestick, Central European origin?, about 1900. Candlestick made of cold-painted bronze in the form of a female water spirit or maiden holding a lily blossom aloft. Unsigned. 6.7”(H) x 4.5”(W)
Any attribution information to a maker or manufacturer would be most appreciated.

    I think I will have trouble with this as I look at 30 or so auctions a day on line at more than a few sites. I remember they did not seem to know what they had except to say it was bronze and did not know how to describe it, so I cannot remember the heading which would have been a clue.

    Yeah, as much as I would like to wish it, this piece is not in Gurschner's catalog raissone.
