This violin and bow was rescued from the attic of an abandoned house.
I don't know much about musical instruments. It appeared that the violin had been in the attic for a long time.
The body of the violin is in good condition but the string and bridge are missing. Inside the f key there are markings on the inside that say AD 1508 or could be AB 1598.
Someone told me that the bow could be worth more than the violin.
The bow is 29 inches long and stamped with L BAUSCH. It is missed its string also.
I'm not sure what to do with it or if it could be restored.
Please tell me more.
