      I have never seen an appendage like the 'hair' (for want of a better word) appendage! As for the beads and the medallion, in the absence of the curious 'hair appendage', I shouldn't think that they had a very significant monetary value. The face and reverse images of the medallion are worn. These are very probably blessed, and thus require respectful handling. Very nice.
