These are figurines, by Royal Doughton, can't find any on internet or ebay, just would like to find out how many they made, the value and what year??? If you collect these tell me more.

Both items are post 1940 because the HM numbers are just time blocks. For 'Marie' the time block is 1930-1988, and for 'Ivy' 1936-1979. I believe both pieces were made after 1954 because from 1928 to 1954, there would have been a small number next to the crown indicating how many years you must add to 1927 to get the year it was made.

Shane, not all Royal Doulton figures made between 1928 and 1954 have the date code number. It's a bonus when the piece does have it.

Hey Paul, sorry missed this, what does this mean, they are different then??? I am sending that box to you this week, finally getting a few days coming up of rest.

no, just means that not all RD figurines were "lucky" enough to get the date code. Handwritten HNs were done before 1959; after that they were printed. So your figures are pre-1959 for sure.
Looking forward to that box, Wing...I'll let you know when it arrives!
