APPLEPIEs
(3 items)
This is a very heavy item. It's about 3 inches tall. The top half has an orange? fruit decoration that is engraved into the metal. It looks like there is some original green paint, but most of the vessel seems either rusty or just worn. It had a reddish black soot inside, and looks like it was pieced together in the middle. I have no idea what it is. I thought it might be an oil lamp, but it doesn't resemble the ones I've seen. It came from an estate of an antique dealer who's items haven't been unpacked in 30 years. It had a price tag of $97.oo from at least this amount of time, so we wonder what he knew that we don't about this piece!! Is it just "Garden Junk" or is it a TREASURE??? Thanks for helping!
**Sooo, my best guess is still leaning toward treasure, but I still haven't had much luck finding any information!! I love the old paint that can still be seen clinging to the metal! Any ideas?
