Riter's Visible Lace Wire with Barbs. Parallel undulating single-strands with two-point wire barbs. My specimen has 5 crests per 18" and it is .75 inches wide. There is a barb on each undulation. Patented (#506258) Oct 10, 1893 by John L. Riter of Brownsville, Indiana.
