My Vintage 24" Dual sided Illuminated Phone Booth Sign which I have had since High School. The corner Texaco Station was being torn down and the wrecking crew was just about to destroy this vintage collectable. I nevertheless stepped in and with puppy dog eyes asked if it could be saved. They were more than willing to let me disconnect the power leads and off I went. Over the years numerous people have asked "why do you have that?" or "what will you ever do with it? " "It's garbage and you need to get rid of it." So I just move it to a different spot in the garage and know it is special. Just like all the other stuff I have that nobody thinks is worth anything. Thanks for listening , It has always been hard to find real friends.

Great sign... I think this is a General Telephone sign (an independent, non-Ma Bell affiliated company). But I could be wrong.
I HAVE BOTH SIDES OF THE SIGN BUT I DO NOT HAVE THE BAND THAT HOLDS THEM TOGETHER. WISH I COULD FIND ONE. I HAVE THE OLD ALUMINUM PHONE BOOTH SITTING IN THE YARD TO PUT IT ON IF I EVER COME ACROSS THE BAND. ANY IDEAS WHERE I COULD FIND ONE?
