Antique 14 kt. solid gold watch-fob dated 1883 and artistically inscribed on the reverse: Don Alonso De Bazan. This piece is 1 inch in diameter. The front is carved and enameled in blue. I will be seeking the history of this item in the future; I believe it came from the Mexican Teritories and was a possesion of an important governer. This was found in a New York estate.

Your answer may have brought up another question. What do the figures on the other side indicate as there is no "K" in the Spanish alphabet?
