I've had this WM Still & Sons Coffee Urn for many years but can find no information about it. It's made of copper and has a wood base, its very heavy. Looks to be from late 1800's - early 1900's. I have had no luck finding anything that even looks like this on numerous internet searches. Would love to know more about it.

What you have appears just to be part of the system. A boiler to provide water/steam would have been under a cabinet out of sight. What little I was able to dig up:

W M Still & Sons Limited, FELLOWS ROAD HASTINGS, EAST SUSSEX, U.K.
    1874 Company founded.
    1907 Private company
Manufacturers of commercial catering equipment, specialising in boiling water and tea and coffee making apparatus, hot cupboards, stainless steel tabling, self-service countering etc., production and development of prototypes, sheet metal work, stampings and spinnings. Also manufacturers of food and beverage vending machines. 500 employees.

They were Royal Warrant Holders to H.M. The Queen, Manufacturers of Kitchen Equipment.

Hobart Foods Equipment acquires W M Still & Sons Ltd(Suter) from Ascot Holdings PLC Mar 31 1989, DISSOLVED - 4/12/1998.

A subsidiary company seems to still be in business as a restaurant and hotel supplier:
    William Page and Co. Ltd.
    Fourth Way
    Bristol
    Avon
    BS11 8TB

As part of UKO International Limited:

Half way down the page it shows a more modern hot water system in use: http://www.greasy-spoon-cafes.zoomshare.com/28.html

Interesting they also made kerosene lamps:

I hope that helps a bit?
