Hello,
I would appreciate help into giving an exact date to this German Stein and confirming the information below.
A Marzi and Remy stein made in Höhr-Grenzhausen (western Germany) the centre for the ceramic industry. It is marked with the logo used by the company between 1879-1964 as well as 'Foreign' for export purposes. It also has 2 numbers '3050' and '16' (or '10' it is not clear engouh to tell) and the letter 'H' in red ink which I think is referring to Höhr.
It is from a series of steins with chalets either side of the people in the centre. It is made of white clay with lustre finish and cobalt blue background. It has a pewter lid and thumb press. The stein is in good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.
