Well it is glass, it appears to be lead around edge of glass and between sections. The size is 14 x 8 inches. As for what I paid, I think 4 bucks is a good deal, though of course I am no expert.
Its a sign of fairly recent vintage. Not an authentic older item. The value is about 4 dollars as a decorator item.
Danny, serious coke guys may not appreciate a more modern piece like this, but as a stained glass accessory to a nice collection, it would add a vintage look at a reasonable cost. These look best hung infront of a window. A stained glass person I met values windows @ $10 for every piece of glass, & she charges $20 for every piece that needs repair FYI. Looks good, worth having the metal banding fixed.
Thanks guys I do appreciate it. I am not a collector but it came up and no one bid and I bought it. I am going to take this and give it to my brother who owns a BBQ joint here in town he can put it in his counter display or something. Pickr and Early, I do appreciate your time. Ray, Really?
