    Does anyone have a clue on this mandolin? It's in pretty decent condition, but needs cleaning. Where do I find the markings if they exist? Maker, age, etc?
    I'd greatly appreciate any info. Thanks.

      Usually you'll find a label on the inside of the sound hole, I don't see one here... not sure if it came out, if it's so dirty it can't be seen, or if there was never one. Sorry I can't be of more help, this style of mandolin was very popular a hundred years ago. If you can't find a label inside the body, then perhaps you should take it to a dealer or shop specializing in old instruments.
