Heres the story on these. My Dad told me that they had been ordered by a guy from Italy back in the early 70s. When they came in there were to small cracks in the base of both and he refused them. They were promptly put on the salvage store floor at the trucking Co that had delivered them. They are extremely heavy and I think they are some sort of metal? Theres also a signature on the base, but cant make it out.
