This Micro Mosaic stick pin shows an image of St. Peter's Square in Rome.
probably made between 1860 - 1880.
It is so incredibly well-designed and with so much patience especially when you consider that the diameter of the image is barely 1.3 cm (0.5 ").
In addition, in these days not many goldsmiths who could make something similar has still the patience and skill. Moreover, the jewel, would be too expensive.
