1) The piece is not flat and is over the top bling
2) Nice floating wire
3) Both open and closed backed stones
4) Nice sturdy rivets
5) Figure 8 puddling
Ok, so that is really 6 reasons :). Gorgeous brooch, even with two missing stones (1 on the top middle of the main flower and another on the flower on the stem. So much bling that it is hard to even notice it though. Love the colors in this piece!
