I received this chair from my mother. I know absolutely nothing about it except that it is signed "Tickner". I have no idea how old it is, what style it is or where it came from. If someone could be so kind as to clue me in on the style and age I'd be grateful.
I don't imagine anyone will be able to help ID the artist. I'm fairly certain it's not Michael Tickner's because the colors aren't bold enough and Lisa Tickner has already told me that it's not hers so I'm stumped.
The only thing I know for sure is that I love it and hope that someday I can have both the chair and the painting restored.
Thanks,
cassiereroni
