This is my collection of Dick & Jane readers by Scott, Foresman & Co. There are several editions here, dating from the early '40s. I have several pre-primers, and the pre-pre-primer called "Before We Read". I have one teacher's edition, and a couple of Cathedral (Catholic school) editions.
You can read more about my readers on my blog:

Good grief, these books bring back memories! (I guess I just dated myself.) I also read your blog about the books and enjoyed it very much. These books are sure different than the ones I used to teach kindergarteners and first graders how to read in the 70s, 80s, and 90s! Thanks for posting!
