This marble Art Deco clock reminds me of some of the migrane headaches I used to get where my vision in one eye would go bonkers and I could see various geometric shapes moving around while writhing in pain.
The clock was filthy when I got it, but a good cleaning bought it's beauty right out. The clock does not run whoever had it last removed the balance wheel rendering the movement useless. The movement that was in it was not original to the clock it was a replacement.
The marble case was still beautiful so I decided to convert it to quartz for the time being until I could find a new movement to replace the old. There were wooden blocks supporting the movement in the clock, and the original door in back was replaced with the wooden one The clock is 15 inches wide, 11 inches tall and 3.5 inches deep. It probably started out with a pair of garnitures that have been lost over time, but I would love to see them all together. There were markings on the marble that I have seen before but I can't remember where.
