The fan is an L.B. Fan. After a little googling I found it to be from L.B. Electronics, from India. It works perfectly, and the bright red is sooo nice! Very heavy, like really, really heavy...all metal. The handle is cracked in two, but mendable, and the cord has been mended oh-so-carelessly that I will have to change it. But it is the neatest vintage little fan in the world...ok, maybe not the world, but I love it!!!
