Cool. I had a Puch Motocross bike for a while. Well engineered, but a bit heavy.
If you are going to ride it more than a few feet, I'd strongly suggest you replace both tires. 48 -year-old rubber can be a bit unreliable....
Like murthog says, replace the tires if you are going to ride it. NEVER trust your life to old tires.
These little 49cc bikes are so much fun.
Little bikes are fun.
Rather than spend a huge amount of time and money on a pursuit, you can go out and nearly immediately scare the crap out of yourself and then put it away again for months while you -A. build up courage again, and B. forget about what happened the last time.
LOL I have NO intention of ever riding it but I would like to find out what it's worth. Do either of you know of any online sites that I could get a ballpark appraisal from?
This might be a good starting point: http://moped2.org/mclass.htm
