lucky you! I have several peices like this that I picked when my mother passed away. My sisters and I took tuns picking her things. it was painful, fun and and very sad at times.
I wish I had more of my mothers jewelry, sadly I ruined most of it when playing dress up as little girl.
That pin is lovely. I always get excited to find pieces like that at yard sales. The color of your pin is very attractive. Wear it with pride.
Lovely piece. I'd wear it with my jeans
jacket and anything else.
I own a big lovely piece similar to this one. Mine can be hung on a necklace or worn as a pin. I love to just hold it in my hands and look at it...its so beautiful...same color as yours and has the small stones too. I like the idea presented here about wearing it on a jeans jacket...I might just do that. Enjoy your find....its gorgeous.
Thanks, sabyrd! I wish mine had the necklace option!
You can have a necklace option. Go to any jewelry site and buy a" slider"- the pin's back goes through the tube and you lock it closed. Then hang on a chain using the attached loop. Jewelry stores sometimes carry them too. Sometimes they do not carry both silvertone and goldtone though.
