This is a heavily used, 1950s telephone repairman's toolcase from Spain. I got it for 500 pesetas, a little under 10 of today's euros.
The leather is almost 1/2 cm thick, and very sturdy. It is worn, torn and stained, but to me, that only adds to it's history and charm.
