I am looking for information about this very old bear that was given to me 43 years ago by an elderly friend of my grandmothers who had him as a child herself. This bear must be at least 103 years old, with a birthday of 1908 at the latest. He is about 16 inches tall with a jointed head, arms and legs. His limbs are about 9.5 inches long. He is stuffed with straw, covered with light tan mohair (which is getting thin in spots)and has felt pads at the ends of his limbs which is worn away in areas exprosing the straw. He has a black fabric nose that was sewn on, glass or plastic eyes that sort of screw in. His left ear is torn at the seam a little where it joins his head but there is no marking. I would like to know who manufactured this bear, approximately when he was made, and how much he is worth. Thank you for your help.
