In the early days of beer cans, many breweries didn't want to invest in a "canning line" so they used these spout top cans that could be fed through their existing bottle fillers. These were capped and filled just like a bottle. The silver can was called a crowntainer, the Burger beer is a "low profile" can,the Cold Spring is a flat top, which needed a churchkey to open and the Kopper Kettle is a high profile can.
