I'm originally from Texas so I always wanted a Texaco sign. My wife found this at auction and bought it for me. The fact that it's dated and smaller at 15 inches is a plus. I don't have a huge room for the big boy Station signs. What I would like to know is what was this placed on, pump? Nope! Too big for a pump sign or plate. Haven't been able to figure it out. HELP!

I believe this is a Lubester or oil cart sign. I have a oil cart with one on each side. I also have the 6 foot version of this sign.
Rocker-sd is right its off a oil cart or lubester. Texco never made a pump plate like this. This is a very nice sign and highly sought after because of its size.

AWSOME! sign. I agree from oil cart. I think fairly rare as well because of its size! I would love to own it. I have a very large can light about 4 or 5 foot like your sign.
