This is a Marisol doll, made after a child actress in 1962-63. She is not-so-hard plastic, dressed in original clothes and sandals. Measures 24in.
She has her original wig, which will be changed promptly.
I found her at a flea market, and fortunately the seller had left his stall, and the neighbor seller was watching it. I offered 5€ for "this old doll" and he sold it to me...ssshhhhhh

I love your Marisol doll. She is my favorite artist, and I have been looking for one. Any idea where I can get one? Marisol (real name Pepa Flores), has retired and lives in Spain with her three daughters.

Would like to hear from you.

      Sincerely,

      Lilly

      Hello Lilly!

It's been a while since I've been on this page...long, long story... :P

Marisol dolls are few and far between. I've only seen another a few years back, and she was way out of my price range. I will keep an eye out for one, and let you know.

Thanks Kathycat, she is one of my little treasures.

His doll is Spanish from the 50s. But it does not correspond to the one in the advertisement, since at least three versions were made with the same name. Yours is most likely from FAMOSA, made in Onil-Alicante. Although it should be marked on the neck or back. The advertísement is FLORIDO.
