Please help me identify this doll. I got it at an estate sale of a World War II pilot. So I'm assuming its an Air Force pilot doll from the WW II era, but I'm not sure. I could not find any label or text of any kind. Its about 15" tall and made of cloth. It seems to have some age to it and its in good condition.
Any identifying information about this doll would be greatly appreciated (manufacturer, date, value, etc.).
Thank you for your time.

I had a Wac Doll much like this one - she had an army green net dress and painted silk face w/an 'overseas' military cap. Lost years ago...should be very collectible on ebay.
It looks as if it is a "My Buddy" doll, very popular during WWII, especially if the body and uniform are one piece rather than separate. These were not only toys, but War Relief Fundraisers. The maker would have had to use what was on hand, with all materials being rationed. The patterns would have been generic, to which individual patches might have been added to personalize the doll.
