Anyone know anything about the specific make/manufacture/date of this pen/lighter? I do know this ... it's a Vintage brass-based gold filled pen/lighter combo. While technically not a fountain pen it is interesting. It is an very early ball point, the kind that used a ink cartridge that fit over a metal tube to feed the ball tip. The other end is a fluid and flint lighter. The only marking on the whole pen inside & outside is "Made In USA" stamped on the arrow shaped pocket clasp. It was covered in gold plating at one time ( sorry, the cell phone pics aren't the best but the whole pen is golden colored and not whitish ) but most all gold has worn off but for remnants left under the clasp.
