Here's the second painting. I think its a mixed medium. Of the two I feel like I relate more to this one. I was thinking of keeping it. Unknown history and artist and all! But I think, I don't want to be the one to break up the set.... Totally irrational. No wonder I stay far far away from Fine Art and Painting Appraisals! Like the first one. So far I've struck out on finding any info. I'm hoping at some point -SOMEONE out there will see these two paintings and fill in some of they're history...

I think the dots suggest again it's a print. Same artist? Mario Sironi is a well known name. Google it and you will see works at MoMA and the Tate.
How funny that Bonhams missed that! Thank you so much for the information. It's not even 7:30am and already I think my day has been made! I don't suppose you know anything on Vintage Ski Lift Gondolas or Lesney Matchbox die cast cars? :)
