This is a glass I found at an estate sale many years ago. The fellows who follow this kinda of stuff list this Brewery as starting in 1855. Oops! In 1856 or so, a man with the name of Degen was hired to run a fellow's brewery (Menger) eventually taking it over and making it his own, and changing it's name to Degen, but as you can see, he was keeping the Menger legacy. San Antonio has a great beer history.
The stippling on the glass is consistent with glasses from the late 1800's.
