A 1945 post card that was sent to my grandmother, from a friend. The postage stamp says, Corre--s, Mexico. Wondering if this postcard has any other value than personal ? Cannot read the full name of the Mexican city it was sent from ?

If you can help me identify this type of card ? and possible weblink ? or value ?

    Thank you for looking :)

Picanniny images were used in advertisements in the early 1900's and by 1930's William "Billie" Thomas, Jr. portrayed as the character of Buckwheat in the Our Gang and Little Rascals short films from 1934 to 1944 was hollywoods version of an African American picanniny. Your postcard is vintage but these images are being highly reproduced. I posted a large advertisement that I was trying to research and found shortly after my researching the item, copies flooded the market. Did find that my advertisement was for "Honey Bee Butter" which used picanninies in most of their advertisements in the 1920's. Guessing yours is also "Honey Bee" advertisement made into a postcard.

The stamp and postmark would validate the age of the card and prove it is not a reproduction
